Soft Squishy Things

Could softness be its own kind of strength?

Stranded in space, an astronaut gets resourceful. A tissue becomes an alien pet, a humidifier turns into her hype squad and flashlights transform a tabletop into entire worlds. In Soft Squishy Things, everyday household objects become the raw materials for a tiny, handmade sci-fi adventure.

Bringing together object-theatre magic and cosmic daydream, this lo-fi odyssey finds wonder in the things we might otherwise throw away. As the astronaut builds new worlds and unlikely companions, a playful, offbeat adventure takes shape around loneliness, identity and our need to connect.

Funny, strange and unexpectedly moving, Soft Squishy Things is a reminder that sometimes the smallest things help us feel a little less alone.
