What does it mean to be here, together?
RITUÆLS begins with a question we all carry in some form: how do we make sense of our place in a world that is so much bigger than we are?
Music and movement become a way into that question. Spanning centuries of music, the performance moves through moments of intimacy, grief, wonder and release. The music shifts around us, sometimes barely moving, sometimes pulling us somewhere we didn’t expect to go.
A body moves through it all, carrying us from one feeling to the next. There are moments of darkness and moments of light, moments when everything feels impossibly small and others when the world seems to open wide.
RITUÆLS invites us to pause, feel and remember that we are part of something much larger than ourselves.
