High Performance Rodeo 2026

The High Performance Rodeo is a curated festival that for nearly four decades has enlivened our city, and made Calgary a destination for arts and culture. Being part of the festival means that you are contributing to the value of lives through your artistic endeavours.

Our festival is curated by Artistic Director Blake Brooker, a recipient of the Order of Canada, and the programming is hand-picked to showcase the best performance work from across Canada and around the world. Participating artists are recognized as the cream of the crop when part of the HPRodeo.

The High Performance Rodeo received an Ultimate Host City Designation, acknowledging the Festival as one of Calgary’s top community builders and contributors, and for intensifying the city’s vibrancy and fostering deeper community spirit. We share our love of hospitality with our artists and make you feel like part of our community too.
