Submission Info
Interested in joining the Rodeo?
The High Performance Rodeo is a curated festival, which means we invite the artists and works that we present. This also means that we don’t have an open call for submissions or set submission deadlines.
That said, we’re always looking for bold, surprising and boundary-pushing work that feels at home at the Rodeo. If you think you’ve got something that might make us curious, we’d love to hear about it.
Not sure what we mean by “Rodeo vibe”? We encourage you to explore the festival details on our site and on our socials to get a better sense of the artists and performances we present.
If you’d like to put your work on our radar, send us as much information as you can about the show and its touring logistics, including a description of the production, touring package, technical requirements, photos, video and marketing materials.
There’s no formal submission process, so just send us something that makes us want to know more.
The High Performance Rodeo is multi-disciplinary, so any work of live performance may be considered; theatre, dance, music, magic, and more.
We curate with a mandate that prioritizes bold, wild, new creations - especially works performed by the creators themselves or multi-disciplinary artistic collaborations.
We do not generally present "the classics", but new interpretations of existing works are of interest to us.
The Rodeo often contains shows that are co-presented with partners - we call these 'co-presentations' - where we share presenting responsibilities (not to be confused with producing responsibilities). These partnerships allow us to potentially present works that may otherwise be unfeasible to present at the Rodeo. If this is a format that is of interest to you, we are happy to chat!
