These Girls

Take a suspense-filled trip back to “that summer,” the one that changed everything. It’s small-town Canada, 1978. When you’re 15 or 16 like Lisa, Carolyn, and Glory, time is already running out. Innocence seems worthless, and love is obviously meant for someone else. But when these girls enter a pact to seduce, then blackmail, the neighbourhood married hunk, they walk an increasingly blurry line between empowerment and vicious exploitation. Little do they know that a protective, omniscient paperboy named Gordon is witnessing every sordid, secret encounter – leading to a surprising confrontation and a sacrifice destined to haunt Lisa forever.
