As a culture what have we learned from WWI? What echoes and parallels persist a century later?

On the centenary of the First World War, the award-winning hometown One Yellow Rabbit ensemble teams up with guest artist, Canadian theatre heavyweight Peter Hinton - for the world premiere of What the Thunder Said.

The performance triptych examines the turbulent first quarter of the twentieth century. Beginning with the glowing promise and prosperity symbolized by the Palace of Electricity at the 1900 Paris World's Fair, it moves through the grinding destruction of WWI and finally to The Waste Land, T.S. Eliot's iconic investigation of the war's desolate aftermath.

This new OYR offering will thrill established fans and create devoted new ones.
