Betty Page lives! The Suicide Girls began as an online community for grrrls fond of dressing up in fishnet, garters and pasties made of electrician's tape-or dressing down to little more than pincushion piercings and panoramic dinner plate sized tattoos. Their burlesque performances emerged at local L.A. parties, and eventually went on tour internationally with such po-mo mutations as a Reservoir Dogs spoof, a Ramones-inspired cheerleader skit, and music that ranges from Hole to Bjork. They've reached uber-stardom having performed with the like of Marilyn Manson, KMFDM, The Pixies, Jane's Addiction, Foo Fighters, Skinny Puppy…the tattooed, cool-as-shit list goes on.
