Think of it as some surreal version of The Iron Chef, wherein each challenger creates a dish live on stage: the salad, the meat 'n' potatoes, the tongue, the jellied eel. Like its country cousin, this is an oldfashioned community rodeo where making and meeting friends over roast corn, candy floss and prairie oysters is as central to the whole event as watching some hapless cowpoke get his head kicked by a brahma bull. Go ahead: Fill yer boots and slake your appetite.
