PERFORMANCE CREATION CANADA
Performance Creation Canada Conference
January 9 to 11
WHAT IS IT?
Performance Creation Canada is a networking enterprise dedicated to the nourishment,
management and study of performance creation in Canada, and the ecology in
which it flourishes. As such, the network will endeavour to identify and
advance the multifaceted interests of a multidisciplinary definition of work
that is performed by the artist(s) who created it. Modeled loosely on the
successful Informal European Theatre Meeting, Performance Creation Canada
(PCC) is inviting the participation of artists, administrators, educators,
funding institutions, presenters, agents, archivists and critics from the
fields of theatre, dance and interdisciplinary work who are interested in
the well being of this most Canadian of performance practices.
WHEN IS IT?
PCC will coincide with the first weekend of the 18th annual High Performance
Rodeo. PCC sessions are timed to allow participants to see as many performances
as possible. Please allow yourself lots of time for informal networking on
and around the festival site.

nature of this event, it is to be expected that the most important topics
