Hailing from Longueuil, Quebec, John's French accent is as thick as pea soup. Good thing he's an anglophone.

While he loves to talk - he doesn't like to talk about himself so his bio is taking a very long time...

More information on Johnny coming soon.

One Yellow Rabbit

Ensemble 2009What began as a small troupe in 1982 has grown into one of Canada's best-known theatrical voices at home and abroad. Freely blending elements such as drama, dance, poetry and monologue into an unpredictable whole, the company has charted a path that is experimental yet professional, and challenging but always captivating. Whether producing shows with it's own tight-knit artistic family, or presenting the best modern performance the world has to offer, One Yellow Rabbit are truly an international treasure.

One of three resident companies in Calgary's main arts complex, The EPCOR CENTRE for the Performing Arts, One Yeloow Rabbit occupies a versatile, state-of-the-art facility called The Big Secret Theatre. The space can be configured as anything from an intimate 200-seat performance venue to a hip party scene. Together with the adjoining Future Cocktail Lounge, it has become a hub of the city's social life.

Mission Statement
One Yellow Rabbit is a "creation house" centering around a core ensemble of creative artists. Our mission is to create original, adult-oriented performance theatre for and about the community that supports us, presenting in our home venue in Calgary and wherever invited in the world. In addition, we nurture similar activities of others in several ways: with our annual festival of performative arts, the High Performance Rodeo; by presenting other creation-based projects at other times during our season; and by teaching activities focusing on ceation, especially during our annual school, the Summer Lab Intensive. Finally we develop projects adapted from our stage creations such as radio plays, film/video projects and digital content on the web.
